CALIPH UTHMAN BIN AFFAN (Radiallahu anhu) AND THE WELL.

There was a well in a part of Madinah belonging to a Jew. It was the only source of water in that part, and the Jew charged Muslims exorbitant amounts for water. Uthman (Radiallahu anhu) offered to buy the well, but the Jew refused. Uthman (Radiallahu anhu) then proposed to buy half of the well, with an agreement that each would fetch on alternate days.
The Jew knew Uthman (Radiallahu anhu) as a clever businessman, and was flattered to have him as a business partner, thinking that this would increase his sales.
The exact opposite happened...no one bought water from him again.
Uthman (Radiallahu anhu) opened the well for Allah's sake, allowing people to fetch as they wanted. The people would fetch two days' supply on his day and ignore the Jew's day. Despondently, the Jew offered Uthman (Radiallahu anhu) the other half, which Uthman (Radiallahu anhu) bought for an exorbitant amount of 20,000 Dirhams.
A few years later, a Sahabi offered to buy up the well from Uthman (Radiallahu anhu). He refused, saying that he had been offered much more. The man kept increasing his offer, and Uthman (Radiallahu anhu) kept refusing on the ground that he had been offered much more. Baffled, the man asked him who had offered so much, and how much had been offered. So Uthman (Radiallahu anhu) said:
"Allah has offered ten times the reward for charity given to Muslims."

The well was kept for the free use of all Muslims, up to and after the death of Sayyadina Uthman (Radiallahu anhu), who, at that time, became the third Caliph of Islam, but wait...the story does not end there.

During the Ummayyad dynasty, the well and the surrounding ground (still nominally in the name of Sayyadina Uthman (Radiallahu anhu) since it was charitable and not inherited) were kept for free use by Muslims. Date palms grew on the grounds, and they grew numerous in time. The dates were now also harvested and given as charity in the name of Sayyadina Uthman bin Affan (Radiallahu anhu). This continued fur a few hundred years during the time of the Abbassid period and later too.
In the present history of Saudi Arabia, the decision was made to organise it into a modern plantation. The money was shared into two parts, half to be given in charity, mainly to widows and orphans, the other half to be reinvested.

This plan was and is still being carried out. Today, a bank account exists in the name of the great Sayyadina Uthman bin Affan (Radiallahu anhu), from which half of all moneys gained from the plantation are remitted, while the other half is still being given out as charity.

Out of this money, an amount was invested into purchasing land around the Masjid an-Nabawi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) in Madinah. This was developed into a hotel for visitors to the Mosque, and, as per arrangement, half the income was also given out as charity, while the other half is being remitted to the account to be reinvested.

As at now, disbursements from this charity, started off by this virtuous Sahabi over 1440 years ago, is upwards of Saudi Riyals 50 million monthly.

The well is known today as Bi'ir Uthman or Bi'ir Rummah. One charitable deed that has earned its giver rewards for over 14 centuries.

May Allah reward the Companions of the Noble Prophet (ﷺ), not only for their charitable deeds, but also for the help they provided in aiding our noble Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) for us, and transmitting his message faithfully down to us for our own benefit.

May Allah grant them all Jannat al al-Firdaus and join us with them in the hereafter.

इस्लाम पर्दे का हुक्म क्यों देता हैं? पेश हैं एक वैज्ञानिक रिपोर्ट

बेशक इस्लाम औरत को हुक्म देता हैं कि वह पर्दे में रहे। दुनिया के सामने अपने जिस्म और खूबसूरती की नुमाइश (प्रदर्शन) न करें सिवाय उसके शौहर (पति) के। क्यों इस्लाम ने सिर्फ औरतों को ही पर्दे में रहने का हुक्म दिया? क्यों सारी पाबंदियां सिर्फ औरतों के लिए ही हैं? क्यों मर्दों के लिए इस्लाम पर्दे का हुक्म नहीं देता? क्यों इस्लाम में मर्दों पर किसी भी तरह की पाबंदी नहीं हैं? लगता हैं इस्लाम एक पुराना और रूढ़िवादी धर्म हैं।

कुछ अज्ञानी लोग बिना इस्लाम को पढ़े और समझें इस्लाम पर इस तरह के बेहूदा इल्जाम लगाने से नहीं चूकते। हालांकि इससे इस्लाम को कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता क्योंकि इस्लाम का प्रत्येक कानून प्रत्येक कसौटी (criterion) पर खरा उतरता हैं चाहे वो सामाजिक कसौटी (Social criterion) हो, तार्किक कसौटी (logical criterion) हो या फिर वैज्ञानिक कसौटी (Scientific criterion) हो। फिर भी इन बेतुके सवालों के जवाब देने जरूरी हैं ताकि सच्चाई सबके सामने आ सकें।

इस्लाम में पर्दे का हुक्म सिर्फ औरतों के लिए ही नहीं बल्कि मर्दों के लिए भी हैं। जैसा कि कुरान ए पाक में लिखा है;

“ऐ नबी (मुहम्मद साहब स.अ.व.) कह दो मोमिन (मुसलमान) मर्दों से की अपनी नजरें नीची रखे और अपनी शर्मगाहो (शरीर के खास अंगों) की हिफाजत करें, ये उनके लिए बेहतर हैं” 
कुरान (24 :30)

कुरान की इस आयत के जरिये अल्लाह (ईश्वर) मुसलमान मर्दों को यह हुक्म दे रहा है कि वे अपनी नजरें नीची रखे और अपनी शर्मगाहो (शरीर के खास अंगों) की हिफाजत करें क्योंकि इसी में उनकी भलाई हैं। यहाँ नजरें नीची रखने का ताल्लुक (सम्बन्ध) पर्दे से ही हैं पर कुछ लोगों के मन में यह सवाल उठ सकता हैं कि नजरें नीची रखने से पर्दा कैसे हुआ? तो आइये इस सवाल का जवाब हम विज्ञान से ही पूछ लेते हैं क्योंकि हो सकता हैं कि इस्लाम के तर्क (logics) को कुछ लोग कुबुल ना करे हालांकि हकीकत तो यह हैं कि जो भी विज्ञान आज बता रहा हैं इस्लाम 1500 साल पहले ही बता चुका हैं। ये मै अपने Articles (लेखों) द्वारा साबित भी कर चुका हूँ।

अमेरिका की एक मशहूर Anthropologist (मानव विज्ञानी) जिसका नाम Helen Fisher हैं पिछले 30 सालों से Rutger University, America में Anthropology (मानव विज्ञान) की professor हैं और Human Behaviour (मानव व्यवहार) पर रिसर्च कर रही हैं और इसी विषय पर कई किताबें भी लिख चुकी हैं। उसने अपने रिसर्च से बताया कि इन्सान के शरीर में कुछ हार्मोन (hormones) होते हैं जैसे Testosterone और Estrogens और दिमाग में कुछ neurotransmitters (रसायन) होते हैं जैसे Dopamine और Serotonin और ये औरतों की तुलना में मर्दों में ज्यादा मात्रा में पाए जाते हैं जो किसी भी व्यक्ति के व्यवहार को प्रत्यक्ष रूप से प्रभावित करते हैं।

और वह कहती हैं कि जब भी किसी मर्द की नजर किसी औरत पर पड़ती हैं तो ये हार्मोन और रसायन active (सक्रिय) हो जाते हैं और फिर मर्द उस औरत को देखकर उत्तेजित हो जाता हैं। और ऐसा तब होता हैं जब या तो औरत बहुत खूबसूरत (Charming) हो या उसका जिस्म का उभार (Figure) दिखाई देता हो। और ऐसा सिर्फ इन्सानो में ही नहीं बल्कि पक्षियों और जानवरों में भी होता हैं। आपने सुना भी होगा और देखा भी होगा कि जब कोई हाथी पागल हो जाता है तो वह तबाही मचाने लग जाता हैं। लेकिन विज्ञान कहता है कि वह हाथी पागल नहीं होता है वह तो ऐसा इसलिए करता है क्योंकि उसमें Testosterone की मात्रा बहुत बढ़ जाती हैं।

इसी तरह एक शेर दूसरे शेरों के बच्चों को मार देता है ताकि शेरनी उसकी तरफ (Mating) के लिए आकर्षित हो जाए। और सभी प्रकार के नर जानवर मादा को पाने के लिए एक दूसरे से प्रतिस्पर्धा करते हैं। John Hopkins University के वैज्ञानिकों ने पक्षियों के व्यवहार पर रिसर्च किया और मालूम किया कि नर पक्षी गाना गाते हैं मतलब अलग अलग तरह की आवाजें निकालते हैं ताकि वे मादा पक्षियों को आकर्षित कर सकें।

तो विज्ञान के मुताबिक औरतों (मादाओं) के जिस्म और खूबसूरती को देखकर मर्द (नर) उत्तेजित हो जाते हैं। अगर मर्दों को औरतों की तरफ आकर्षित होने से रोकना है तो औरतें अपनी खूबसूरती व जिस्म को पर्दे में रखें और मर्द भी औरतों को न घुरे तो कुरान में अल्लाह (ईश्वर) ने हमें यही तो हुक्म दिया हैं कि मुसलमान औरतें अपने आप को पर्दे में रखे और मुसलमान मर्द अपनी नजरें नीची रखे मतलब औरत को न घुरे। तो यह साबित हो गया कि इस्लाम ने सिर्फ औरतों को ही नहीं बल्कि मर्दों को भी पर्दा करने का हुक्म दिया हैं और इसी में इन्सानो की भलाई हैं।

भेड़ियों ने बकरियों के हक़ में एक जुलूस निकाला
कि बकरियों को आज़ादी दो,
बकरियों के हुक़ूक़ मारे जा रहे हैं,
उन्हें घरों में क़ैद कर के रखा गया है.
एक बकरी ने जब यह आवाज़ सुनी तो दूसरी बकरियों से कहा कि
सुनो सुनो हमारे हक़ में जुलूस निकाले जा रहे हैं,
चलो हम भी निकलते हैं और अपने हुक़ूक़ की आवाज़ उठाते हैं.
एक बूढ़ी बकरी बोली,
बेटी होश से काम लो,
यह भेड़िये तुम्हारे दुश्मन हैं, इनकी बातों में मत आओ.
मगर नौजवान बकरियों ने उसकी बात न मानी
और कहा कि अरे आपका ज़माना और था,
यह माडर्न ज़माना है,
अब कोई किसी के हुक़ूक़ नहीं छीन सकता.
यह भेड़िये हमारे दुश्मन कैसे हो सकते हैं,
यह तो हमारे हुक़ूक़ की बात कर रहे हैं,
हमारी आज़ादी की आवाज़ उठा रहेहैं.
यह सुनकर बूढ़ी बकरी बोली, बेटा यह तुम्हें बर्बाद करना चाहते हैं,
तुम्हारी इज़्ज़तों से खेलना चाहते हैं,
अभी तुम महफ़ूज़ हो.
अगर तुम इनकी बातों में आ गईं तो यह तुम्हें चीर फाड़ कर रख देंगे.
बूढ़ी बकरी की यह बात सुनकर जवान बकरी ग़ुस्से में आ गई और कहने लगी, अम्मा तुम तो बूढ़ीहो चुकी हो,
अब हमें हमारी ज़िंदगी जीने दो, तुम्हें क्या पता कि आज़ादी क्या होती है.
बाहर ख़ूबसूरत खेत होंगे, हरे भरे बाग़ होंगे,
हर तरफ़ हरियाली होगी, ख़ुशियाँ ही ख़ुशियाँ होंगी. तुमअपनी नसीहत अपने पास रखो.
अब हम और यह क़ैद बर्दाश्त नहीं कर सकते.
यह कह कर सब जवान बकरियाँ आज़ादी आज़ादी के नारे लगाने लगीं
और भूख हड़ताल कर दी. बकरियों के मालिक ने जब यह सूरते हाल देखी तो मजबूरन उन्हें खोलकर आज़ाद कर दिया.
बकरियाँ बहुत ख़ुश हुईं और नारे लगाती छलाँगें मारती निकल भागीं.
मगर यह क्या ?
भेड़ियों ने तो उन पर हमला कर दिया और मासूम बकरियों को चीर फाड़ कर रख दिया.
आज औरतों की आज़ादी की बात करने वाले दर हक़ीक़त औरतों तक पहुंचने की अपनी आज़ादी चाह रहे हैं.
यह हवस के प्यासे हैं.
यह सारा खेल हुकूमतों को चलाने वाले उन सरमायेदारों का है जो अपनी तिजोरियाँ भरने के लिये औरतों को इस्तेमाल करना चाहते हैं.
अपने प्रोडक्ट्स की माडलिंग के लिये,
अपने आफ़िस और शोरूम में कस्टमर को खींचने के लिये औरतों को आगे करना चाहते हैं. अब अगर औरतें अपने घरों में रहेंगी
तो इनके मंसूबों पर पानी फिर जाएगा.
इसलिये यह सरमायेदार औरतों को घरों सेबाहर निकालने के लिये उनके हुक़ूक़ और आज़ादी की झूठी बाते करते हैं.
.जो लोग लडकी को पेट में ही मार देते है वही लोग आज केह रहे है की इस्लाम औरतो को उनके अधिकार नही देता ..
.इस्लाम वो मज़हब है जो बेटी को पेट मे मारने की इजाजत नही देता हे ....
इस्लाम में औरत के पेरो के नीचे जन्नत का दरजा है ..
.ये मज़हब है इस्लाम .....

Just imagine a world without Muslims. Now I think you probably meant, JUST IMAGINE A WORLD WITHOUT TERRORISTS. And then I would agree, the world would definitely be a better place without those pieces of filth. But to hold a whole group responsible for the actions of a few is ignorant and racist. No one would ever expect Christians or White people to be held responsible for the acts of Timothy McVeigh (Oklahoma bombing) or Anders Breivik (Norway killing), or the gun man that shot Congresswoman Giffords in head, wounded 12 and killed 6 people, and rightly so because they had nothing to do with those incidents! Just like the rest of the 1.5 billion Muslims have nothing to do with this incident!

एक जोरदार

तुफान आया।

उसकी नाव पुरी तरह से तहस-नहस

जब तूफान शांत हुआ तब वह

तैरता-तैरता एक टापू पर

पहुंचा 

लेकिन वहाँ भी कोई नही था।

टापू के चारो और समुद्र के अलावा कुछ

भी नजर नही आ

रहा था।

उस आदमी ने सोचा कि जब मैंने

पूरी जिदंगी मेँ

किसी का कभी भी बुरा नही किया तो मेरे

उस ईन्सान को लगा कि खुदा ने मौत से

बचाया तो आगे

धीरे-धीरे वह वहाँ पर उगे झाड-फल-पत्ते

खाकर दिन बिताने

अब धीरे-धीरे उसकी आस टूटने लगी,

खुदा पर से

उसका यकीन उठने लगा।

फिर उसने झाड की डालियो और पत्तो से

उसने मन ही मन कहा कि आज से झोपडी मेँ

सोने

को मिलेगा आज से बाहर

नही सोना पडेगा।

रात हुई ही थी कि अचानक मौसम बदला

बिजलियाँ जोर जोर से कड़कने लगी.!

तभी अचानक एक बिजली उस झोपडी पर

आ गिरी और

झोपडी धधकते हुए जलने लगी।

यह देखकर वह ईन्सान टूट गया।

की तरफ देखकर

बोला

या खुदा ये तेरा कैसा इंसाफ है?

तूने मुज पर अपनी रहम की नजर क्यूँ नहीं की?

फीर वह ईन्सान हताश होकर सर पर हाथ

रखकर रो रहा था।

कि अचानक एक नाव टापू के पास आई।

नाव से उतरकर

दो आदमी बाहर आये

और बोले कि हम तुम्हे बचाने आये हैं।

दूर से इस वीरान टापू मे जलता हुआ

झोपडा देखा 

तो लगा कि कोई उस टापू

पर मुसीबत मेँ है।

अगर तुम अपनी झोपडी नही जलाते

तो हमे

पता नही चलता कि टापू पर कोई है।

उस आदमी की आँखो से आँसू गिरने लगे।

उसने खुदा से माफी माँगी और

बोला कि "या रब मुझे

क्या पता कि तूने मुझे बचाने के लिए

मेरी झोपडी जलाई

थी।यक़ीनन तू अपने बन्दों का हमेशा ख्याल रखता है। तूने मेरे सब्र का इम्तेहान लिया लेकिन मैं उसका फ़ैल हो गया। मुझे माफ़ फरमा दे।"

दिल को झकझोर देने वाली घटना: मृत पत्नी की देह कंधे पर उठा कर बारह किलोमीटर तक चला ये आदमी क्योंकि पैसा न होने की वजह से अस्पताल ने एम्बुलेंस नहीं दी। शर्मनाक है यह।

जितनी दोषी सरकार और प्रशासन है उससे ज़रा भी कम दोषी उस पूरे 10 किमी के रास्ते में तमाशा देखने वाली जनता और तस्वीरें खींचने वाले पत्रकार नहीं हैं। आज लोग खुद इंसानियत भूल चुके हैं जब खुद पे आती है और खुद का तमाशा बनता है तो लोग रोते हैं के किसी ने उनकी मदद नहीं की जब तक इंसान एक दूसरे की मदद करने का जज़्बा दिल में पैदा नहीं करेगा तब तक इस तरह की तस्वीरें आती ही रहेंगी।

बीसवीं सदी में दुनिया ने क़रीब आधी सदी का वक़्त ज़बरदस्त डर के माहौल में बिताया. इसकी वजह थी अमरीका और सोवियत संघ के बीच शीत युद्ध.

1945 में दूसरे विश्व युद्ध के ख़ात्मे से पहले ही अमरीका और सोवियत संघ में तनातनी बढ़ गई थी. अमरीका ने जापान के हिरोशिमा और नागासाकी पर एटम बम गिराकर दुनिया को उसकी ताक़त और उसके ख़तरों का एहसास करा दिया था.

इसके बाद से ही अमरीका और सोवियत संघ में एटमी हथियारों की होड़ मच गई थी. दोनों एक से एक एटम बम और एटमी मिसाइलें बनाने में जुट गए थे. एक वक़्त ऐसा था जब दोनों देशों के पास इतने एटमी हथियार थे कि दुनिया को कई बार मिटाया जा सकता था.

उस दौर में अमरीका और सोवियत संघ, दोनों ने कई ख़ुफ़िया एटमी ठिकाने बनाए हुए थे. जहां पर बड़ी-बड़ी न्यूक्लियर मिसाइलें छुपाकर रखी गई थीं. दोनों ही देश एक-दूसरे के इन ख़ुफ़िया एटमी ठिकानों को जानते थे. इसलिए चाहे कोई भी देश पहले हमला करता, पूरी दुनिया का तबाह होना तय था.

ये ख़ुफ़िया एटमी ठिकाने ही दुनिया की तबाही की वजह बनते. चलिए आज आपको अमरीका के ख़ुफ़िया एटमी ठिकाने की सैर पर ले चलते हैं.

ये न्यूक्लियर बेस, अमरीका के एरिज़ोना सूबे में टक्सन नाम के शहर के क़रीब रेगिस्तानी इलाक़े में था. मेक्सिको की सीमा से ये जगह महज़ कुछ किलोमीटर दूर थी. ऊपर से देखने पर किसी को बिलकुल भी एहसास नहीं हो सकता था कि ज़मीन के नीचे दुनिया की तबाही का सामान छुपा है.

इस न्यूक्लियर बेस पर तैनात रहीं इवोन मॉरिस बताती हैं कि सोवियत संघ को तो पक्का इस जगह के बारे में पता रहा होगा. मगर उनके अपने देश में, यहां तक कि टक्सन शहर के लोगों को भी भनक नहीं रही होगी कि यहां न्यूक्लियर बेस है. इवोन, यहां 1980 से 84 तक तैनात रही थीं.

वो बताती हैं कि इस एटमी बेस में जाने के लिए तहखानों की कई सीढ़ियों से गुज़रना होता था. जिस दौरान उन्हें कई बार सुरक्षा कोड बताना होता था. इस दौरान वो लगातार कैमरे की निगरानी में रहती थीं ताकि कहीं ऐसा न हो कि बंदूक की नोक पर कोई ज़बरदस्ती एटमी बेस के भीतर घुस आए.

इवोन कहती हैं कि ऐसे ख़ुफ़िया एटमी ठिकानों का मक़सद था दुश्मन को डराकर तीसरा विश्व युद्ध छेड़ने से रोकना. मगर, यहां पर दुनिया की तबाही का अच्छा-ख़ासा सामान जमा था. इस न्यूक्लियर बेस पर अमरीका की टाइटन 2 एटमी मिसाइलें रखी गई थीं. ये मिसाइलें क़रीब सात मंज़िल ऊंची थीं. इनमें इतनी ताक़त थी कि पलक झपकते ही सोवियत संघ का सफ़ाया हो जाता.

अगर सोवियत संघ पहले एटमी मिसाइल से अमरीका पर हमला करता तो इवोन और उनके साथियों के पास सिर्फ़ तीन मिनट होते जवाबी हमला करने के लिए. इस दौरान उन्हें सीढ़ियों से भागकर एटमी बेस के कंट्रोल रूम में जाना था. वो अकेले वहां नहीं जा सकती थीं. उनके साथ एक और साथी होता. दोनों को कई बार सिक्योरिटी चेक का सामना करना पड़ता.

इसके बाद भी दोनों को मिसाइल लॉन्च के ऑर्डर का मिलान फ़ोन पर एक कोड डायल करके लेना होता. फिर राष्ट्रपति से मिसाइल लॉन्च का जो आदेश कोड के तौर पर आता, उसे इवोन और उनका दूसरा साथी मिलाता. कम से कम तीन बार कोड का मिलान करने के बाद ही इवोन और उनके साथी एटमी मिसाइल लॉन्च कर सकते थे और इसके लिए उनके पास सिर्फ़ तीन मिनट का वक़्त होता.

इवोन बताती हैं कि एटमी बेस की सुरक्षा कुछ ऐसी थी कि कोई एक शख़्स अकेले न तो कंट्रोल रूम में जा सकता था और न ही वो मिसाइल लॉन्च कर सकता था. ऐसा इसलिए किया गया था ताकि किसी एक शख़्स की सनक की वजह से दुनिया तबाही के रास्ते पर न चल पड़े.

1960 से 1984 तक टक्सन शहर में 18 टाइटन 2 न्यूक्लियर मिसाइलें तैनात थीं. इवोन बताती हैं कि उन्हें उस जगह तक ले जाया गया था जहां मिसाइलें रखी गई थीं. उस जगह को 'सिलो' कहते हैं. जब इवोन पहली बार इस न्यूक्लियर बेस पर पहुंची थीं तो कमांडर ने उन्हें पूरा बेस दिखाया था.

वहां इवोन ने देखा था कि मिसाइल के निर्माता का नाम अमरीका की मशहूर कंपनी जनरल इलेक्ट्रिक लिखा हुआ था. उस वक़्त जनरल इलेक्ट्रिक अपने विज्ञापन में कहती थी कि वो लोगों तक दुनिया की अच्छी चीज़ें लेकर आती है. मगर टाइटन 2 तो तबाही का सामान थी. बस यही सोचकर इवोन को हंसी आ गई थी.

अमरीका के इस ख़ुफ़िया एटमी बेस पर तैनात लोग चौबीसों घंटे की शिफ़्ट में काम करते थे. कोई भी शख़्स कभी अकेले नहीं हो सकता था. कोई न कोई हमेशा साथ में रहता था. शिफ़्ट ख़त्म होने से पहले सबको वैक्यूम क्लीनर से कालीन साफ़ करना होता था. इस वैक्यूम क्लीनर को भी कोई न तो अकेले निकाल सकता था और न ही इस्तेमाल कर सकता था. ऐसा सुरक्षा के लिहाज़ से किया गया था.

इवोन बताती हैं कि बेस में तैनात कोई एक शख़्स अकेले तीसरा विश्व युद्ध नहीं शुरू कर सकता था.

इवोन से जब पूछा गया कि क्या वो मिसाइल लांच कर देतीं? तो, उनका जवाब होता है कि आदेश मिलने पर वो पक्का ऐसा करतीं क्योंकि ये आदेश तभी मिलता जब सोवियत संघ ने अमरीका पर एटमी मिसाइल फेंक दी हो.

ऐसे में इवोन का कहना है कि उनके परिवार का मरना तय था. वो ख़ुद भी नहीं जी पातीं क्योंकि सोवियत संघ को इस ख़ुफ़िया एटमी बेस के बारे में भी पता था तो वहां भी हमला होता ही. इसीलिए वो मरने से पहले सोवियत संघ पर मिसाइल फेंककर उसे भी तबाह ज़रूर कर जातीं क्योंकि टाइटन 2 मिसाइल को लॉन्च करने में उन्हें केवल 58 सेकेंड लगने थे.

अमरीका और सोवियत संघ दोनों को मालूम था कि एटमी हमले की सूरत में दुनिया का तबाह होना तय है. इसी वजह से तबाही का सामान कही जाने वाली इन मिसाइलों ने दुनिया को अब तक तीसरे महायुद्ध से बचाए रखा है.

हालांकि अब ये ख़ुफ़िया एटमी बेस, एक म्यूज़ियम में तब्दील कर दिया गया है. इवोन यहां की निदेशक हैं. वो लोगों को इस ख़ुफ़िया न्यूक्लियर बेस की सैर कराती हैं. वो जगह दिखाती हैं जहां मिसाइलें रखी गई थीं. पुराने कंप्यूटर और कंट्रोल रूम लोगों को दिखाती हैं.

इवोन कहती हैं कि ये म्यूज़ियम लोगों को तकनीक की ताक़त का एहसास कराता है. ये बताता है कि इससे कितनी भारी तबाही मच सकती है.
